Be still, my beating heart. It was a truly wonderful sight to see the beautiful Marion Maréchal-Le Pen at CPAC on Thursday morning. Times they certainly are a’changing. Could it be that Conservative Inc. is finally opening some of its doors to the forces of reaction, tradition, and paleoconservatism? Dare we hope?
It’s too early to tell, and I doubt it honestly, but either way one can appreciate Maréchal-Le Pen’s speech for the ray of reactionary light it was in an otherwise dim den of wet centrism, neoconservatism, and libertarianism.
The following is a comparative diagram of the three major strains of the dissident right: ideological Traditionalism with a capital “T” (a la Guenon, Evola), traditionalist conservatism (as espoused by yours truly on The Traditionalist Mind), and what I will at present refer to broadly as the Revolutionary Right (which for the purposes of this article refers to the New Right, Fascists, and broad swathes of the Alt-Right).
